This article discussed imaging mapping and image editors. This new technology the "ToneZone" involves giving the user an ability to modify the tone range of a digital image. This allows for a "complex set of changes, including changing the brightness and contrast." The ToneZone uses a super imposed rectangle that has to coursers for both position and size. Also, the authors of this article developed a single input ToneZone system on top of the dual input.
Discussion
I really enjoyed reading about the ToneZone. I have a decent experiance manipulating and editing photos using photoshop. With the ability to manipulae input and output tones, I can imagine how much value this could be to all photo editors. The great part of this tool is that it allows very novice and expert digital image editors to use.
