Title - Interaction design in the university: designing disciplinary interactions
Author(s) - Gale Moore, Danielle Lottridge

Summary
The main focus of the Authors' in this paper deal with solving a problem. They explain 3 very different ways of going about problem solving. These include:: transdisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary. The best technique is transdisciplinary. This technique uses mutiple fields to bring together finding's in each of these fields or a better overall solution. Multidiscplinary is very similar to this but it will only uses 2 separate fields to make contribution to the problem. On the other hand trasnsdisciplinary is basically combining to separate disciplines into one.

Discussion
I really enjoyed reading this paper on problem solving techniques dealing with multiple fields. I had never heard of any of these techniques before but I could see how useful it would be. Computer Science and Philosophy are very similar in the studies so combining these two could have great benefit. By bringing in a person from another field, ideas from another perspective could go very far in solving the problem or at least brining them closer to it.
